Apertus OS cinema camera
http://cinema.elphel.com/en/elphelvision
This looks like a really interesting project. Based on the Open Source Elphel camera these guys are building hardware to go with it and a suite of softwares that looks extremely good. This is the type of project that has been needed in the filmmaking community for a long time. If you're like me - tired of all of the marketing hype and outright bs surrounded by most cameras (...yes, RED) this is a great looking project. Support them. They need you and we need them.
